Words of Wisdom

Yesterday, Cecilia got frustrated and began to throw a fit. Grace turned to me and said, "It's just that she has so many feelings that she doesn't know what to do with them, mom." Then Grace comforted her sister the way only a big sister can. Cuddling. Cecilia got tubes in her ears last Wednesday. Her talking and vocabulary have increased about 500%. She repeats everything she hears, at least the last couple words of the sentence she just heard. Today, Jay (my step-dad) is going to show me how to make a traditional fireplace surround for our fireplace. I'm really excited to learn how to do this. I plan to take before and after pictures. We also got a bird-feeder that the squirrels absolutely love. The girls enjoy watching the squirrels, but Jeff has taken this as a personal affront. His new purpose in life is eradicating the squirrels from our property. I'll let you know how he does in this quest.
